Commercial Kitchen Breakdown, Maintenance & Servicing

Andrew White Servicing Ltd will provide a minimum of one service visit per year to carry out the following on all equipment detailed within the equipment schedule (where applicable).

Services Contract Specification

ELECTRICAL
  • Check all electrical contractors, relays etc.
  • Lubricate where necessary and ensure all electrical connections are tight.
  • Check all thermostats and heating elements.
  • Check all record insulation and earth continuity.
  • Check all switches on equipment.
GAS
  • Clear out gas injectors and aeration ports
  • Check and adjust pilots and thermostats
  • Re-grease gas valves
  • Check all connections, gas pipes etc
  • Check and record gas soundness in accordance with Gas Safety (installation and use amendment regulation 1990) to Gas Safe Commercial Catering Specification.
REFRIGERATION
  • Examine and check compressors, evaporator(s), valves and other auxiliary controls
  • Examine and check all pipework and vibration eliminators.
  • Check refrigerant charge.
  • Check suction and discharge pressures.
  • Check and adjust operating temperature, electrical controls.
  • Clean filters and screens when necessary, general cleaning and oiling of equipment.
  • Clean condenser exterior.
  • Check general performance.
GENERAL
  • A record of all service calls and work carried out will be kept by Andrew White Servicing Ltd and can be sent to client upon their request for Health, safety and insurance purposes.
  • Andrew White Servicing Ltd will contact CLIENT prior to service visit to confirm day and time will be convenient.
  • All work will be carried out with the minimum disruption to the catering facilities as far as reasonably possible.
  • Our engineer(s) will report to reception on arrival and departure.
EXCLUSIONS:
  • All materials and spare parts used during the routine maintenance calls will be charged as additional costs.
  • Where expensive parts are required, we will obtain a quotation and gain authorisation from CLIENT before proceeding to order the part.
  • Although cleaning of the vital parts of the equipment will take place during service, Andrew White Servicing Ltd is not responsible for the general cleaning and maintenance of the equipment.
